ISABEL RODRIGUES

Isabel Rodrigues has been a member of PAWA since 1992 and has served as Vice President for RI since 1993. She also serves on the Board of Directors. Ms. Rodrigues has aided the organization by co-chairing many activities over the years and by participating on our former scholarship award committee.

Ms. Rodrigues has worked in education for the past twenty-six years as a special education teacher and recently as an adjunct professor at a community college. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree in Special Education from Providence College and a Masters Degree in Bilingual/Bicultural education from Rhode Island College. She enjoys reading and travel.

ISABEL RODRIGUES was born in Beira Alta, Portugal and immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 8. She is the mother of a son, Anthony.
